Sheryl Swoops is one of the greatest women basketball players ever. She a six feet tall and can really shoot! She was named Most Valuable Player in the NCAA Championship game and National College Player of the Year in 1993. A three-time Olympic gold medalist, Sheryl Swoopes competed on her second USA World Championship Team in 2002, helping the U.S. bring back the gold medal from China. Sheryl has won way too many awards to mention! Sheryl was the first woman to have a NIKE basketball shoe named after her, Air Swoopes. Sheryl has even written a book, an autobiography called Bounce Back. Sheryl is recovering from knee surgery.
