CAREER NOTES * Became the first Czechoslovakia-trained player to ever lead the NHL in scoring, as he won the Art Ross Trophy last season. * Was the first non-center and right wing to win the scoring title since Guy Lafleur won the title in the 1977-78 season. * Was the youngest player (23 years, two months and 18 days) to win the Art Ross Trophy since Mario Lemieux (22 years, five months and 29 days) in 1987-88. * Only eight players have led the NHL in scoring at a younger age (Wayne Gretzky, Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Mario Lemieux, Harvey Jackson, Bobby Orr, Milt Schmidt and Bryan Trottier). * His point per game average has increased each season; 1990-91 (.712), 1991-92 (.986), 1992-93 (1.16), 1993-94 (1.24), 1994-95 (1.46) and 1995-96 (1.82). * Holds the NHL playoff record for the most assists (five) by a rookie during a Stanley Cup Finals Series (1991). * Ranks fifth in club history in goals (219), sixth in assists (319), fourth in points (538), tied for second in game-winning goals (42) and second in overtime goals (4).
