A golfer from Zimbabwe, Nick Price is a professional golfer with three major championship wins in his career. Price ranked as No.1 in the Official World Golf Ranking for 43 weeks, which led him into being apart of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Price won two majors back-to-back, The Open and the PGA Championship. Also, Price was awarded the Vardon Trophy twice. The Vardon trophy is usually given annually by the people of PGA of America to the golfer with the lowest adjusted scoring average with at least 60 rounds. He also was voted the Bob Jones Awards, which is given in recognition of distinguished sportsmanship in golf given by the USGA. Currently, Price still plays golf professionally; he has shifted some of his efforts on golf design with his very own company in Florida, which creates signature golf apparel. Price is not only a great golfer; he is also a very personable person. He writes in his journal before each season: “Persistence, persistence, persistence”. Although Price continues to play professionally, he has expanded into golf design with his own company operating out of Florida, and he has his own line of signature golf apparel. He is widely regarded by fans, media and his fellow players as one of the most personable golfers on the PGA Tour. He won his first Champions Tour event at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am where he had three double bogeys in his final round, but he hung on to win by one stroke over Larry Nelson.
