There is not a more recognizable name in golf than Jack Nicklaus. A dominant force in the game since the early 1960s - many would say the dominant force - Jack is unquestionably still one of the game's most popular players. Jack has won an astounding 100 tournaments around the world, including six Masters, five PGA Championships, four US Opens, three British Opens, and two US Amateur Championships. With more than 130 signature golf courses open for play in 26 countries around the world bearing his stamp, Jack, who was named Golf Course Architect of the Year in 1993, is at the top of his game in golf course design. More than 280 professional events have been staged at Nicklaus courses worldwide, including the Ryder Cup, PGA Championship and US Amateur Championship. With 10 golf courses on the Treasure Coast alone, Jack is now working with each of his sons - Jack II, Steve and Gary - on golf course design projects. In addition to his golf and design careers, Jack and his wife Barbara have played significant roles in a variety of charity projects. Especially important to the Nicklaus family are children's causes. With five children and eight grandchildren, the Nicklaus family has lived in Palm Beach County for 30 years.
